Group Exercise Classes
Enjoy a full lineup of group exercise classes with your Eagle Pointe Recreation Complex membership at no additional cost to you. Select the class you wish to join and come at the appointed time - it's that easy! With about 35 exercise classes a week to choose from our dynamic sessions will tone muscle, burn calories, increase stamina and reduce stress. Our nationally certified instructors are energetic, friendly and dedicated to your exercise enjoyment. Our facility has a dedicated group cycling studio and a separate room for group exercise, designed with a special spring-loaded floor to reduce impact on your joints. Our core exercise classes include the following with variations within each category: Ab-Express, Pilates, Body Pump, Cycling, Yoga, Cardio Kickbox, Step and Water Aerobics. Levels include the following: Level I - Beginners, Level II - Intermediate, Level III-Advanced.
Combine kicking and punching drills in this kickboxing class. This class teaches the fundamentals of kickboxing and is designed to increase stamina and strength while burning mega calories. Punching bags will be used. Bring gloves to class.
This class is an exhilarating, indoor workout set to great music and instruction! This exciting workout is done on a stationary bike. Bring your water bottle and towel. Level / All
This 30-minute class will tighten and tone your abdominals, increase your flexibility and strengthen your lower back. The stability ball is incorporated in this class for great core strength. Level / All
Experience the mind and body working together as a whole using strength, flexibility and the flow of movement while emphasizing control and breathing. This class is great for reducing stress. Bring a sticky mat. Level / All
Home School PE Class
Class is divided into two age groups, 5 - 12 and 13 - 17. This class is designed for use as a PE class for home schoolers and meets the State of Texas requirements for physical education for home school programs. Kids get to swim at least once per month. Level / All
Kids 5 - 13 have fun getting exercise with games, obstacle courses, swimming, and sports-related drills. (Summer ONLY) Level / All
An intense cardio, plyometric and weight training workout. Similar to Boot Camp. Interval at its best! Level / All
A complete total body workout designed to shrink and firm your buns, hips and thighs. Tighten and flatten your stomach by working your center or powerhouse. Increase flexibility while sculpting long, lean muscles that will redefine your body. Level / All.
All the benefit without all the "BULK"! Sculpt your way into the body of your dreams while utilizing free weights, dumbbells, bands, body bars, fitness balls and a height-varied step for the ultimate "extreme makeover"!
An invigorating workout, utilizing foam dumbbells, noodles, aqua fins, tubing and more for an intense H2O workout! Level / All.
A class to challenge stability and increase core strength with Peyow™Aqua Pilates - Pilates principles and exercises adapted for the water. Level /All.
Zumba / Aqua Zumba
Ditch the workout and join the party! This is a Latin based aerobic class. Dance your way to a fitter you with exciting Latin moves and rhythms. No dance experience needed. Fun for all!
What To Bring To Class
Aqua Classes: Please wear aqua socks and bring your towel.
Cycling Classes: Please bring a water bottle, towel and gel seat.
All classes: Bring water for re-hydration to every class.
