Guardstart: Lifeguarding Tomorrow

This is a Red Cross course that offers children 11-14yrs, a chance to learn about lifeguarding.   We offer this course during special times of the year. rc.jpg  During this class you will work on earning 3 Eagle Scout required badges, along with earning a Standard First Aid and CPR certification.

Time: 9:00 am-2:30 pm 

Lifeguarding

This class is taught for 15 yrs and up, to earn a Lifeguarding certification.   In this class you receive the lifeguarding manual, CPR face mask, Lifeguarding with Standard First Aid, CPR/AED for the Lifeguard, and Emergency Oxygen Administration.  Private Instructor for prerequistes are avaliable.  You must show prereguiste prior to signing up for the class.  Click here for registration form.   Click here for Information Sheet.

Standard First Aid (Offered as needed must have 5 participants)

This course is designed to train adults in Adults & Pediatrics First Aid & CPR/AED Adult, Child, & Infant. 

Cost: $70 member :: $75 non-member

Babysitter Training (Offered as needed must have 5 participants)

This training is used to teach 11-15 yr olds, to be safe babysitters.   They will learn about safety, feeding, carrying, and changing infant to young child.  Thererc4.jpg is an additional option for First Aid & Child / Infant CPR, offered on special days.

Cost: $70 

Wilderness Training (Offered as needed must have 12 participants)

This class is used for people (ages 14 & up) who are in the outdoors, away from immediate medical assistance.  This class is really good for Boy Scouts & Scout Leaders. 

Emergency Medical Responder (Offered as needed)

This class is for people who are looking to be a first resopnder.
